OUR STORY
In the middle of 2018 Marius van der Schyf, previously Quality Safety’s factory manager for 17 years, started Khusela Safety (Pty) Ltd. He has been involved in the safety and security industry all his life, predominantly manufacturing rather than reselling. Marius is a farmer that enjoys the farming lifestyle as well. He can now pursue both his passions, namely farming and safety at the facilities of his private farm. Khusela Safety (Pty) Ltd was born out of an order from the South African Police Services for Riot Shields. Today we are a well-established company with a large customer and supplier base that continues to expand and grow. We are 30 employees at the moment.

Khusela Safety (Pty) Ltd started operating in 2018. We started as a home-based company, in a double garage as a workshop with only five employees. Our main production focus was, and still is, to supply medical equipment to the industrial and mining industries.
To uplift local community development by introducing new job opportunities to those who are unable to find work. This will enable our business to expand and continue with further job creation and increased manufacturing capabilities.
Khusela Safety (Pty) Ltd is now an employer of 30 employees. We have 2 (two) separate workshops for the manufacturing of in-house products, and a well-equipped office space.
In the future, we want to manufacture more items of our own and this will lead to more job opportunities. We also want to give adequate training to our employees to assist with the expanding of our in-house production.
